Renee Heymann is the proud owner of K9 Keep Fit and two beautiful huskies. When her dogs’ favorite daycare facility announced it was closing its doors, Renee sprang into action. Fulfilling a lifelong desire to own her very own dog- centered business, Renee was excited to take ownership of the daycare and training facility from Canine Specialties proprietor, Jose Moreno, in July 2017.
Renee Heymann’s mission is to provide a safe environment where dogs can be their best selves, enjoy daily outdoor exercise, and learn and practice good manners in dog socials and out in the world. In September 2017, Renee began K9-1 Specialized Dog Training’s Dog Trainer Certification Program in order to gain a more complete understanding of dogs, their behavior, and how to better serve dogs and their humans. She plans to be certified as a Foundation Style Dog Trainer by the end of Summer 2018.
Renee has been Office Manager of her family business, De Luxe Dye Works, since 1998 and owned her own Cambrian/Los Gatos massage business for five years.
